Mazda Jamasbi - Managing Director, Principal Consultant
Mazda is a senior product marketing, business planning and strategy professional with 20+ years in the high-tech industry. During this time, he has authored numerous business plans, developed innovative products and cutting-edge solutions, managed talented marketing teams and generated significant revenue while never losing sight of his top priority: solving customer problems using practical tools and techniques.
Before coming to Austin in 2004, Mazda worked in the Silicon Valley for nearly 20 years. He was the global marketing manager for a $4B product line at Dell before leading product planning and strategy for Data Center Infrastructure division in 2007. During his career, he has developed and marketed products for several industries including medical, scientific instruments, computer HW & SW solutions as well as online services. He started River place Consulting in 2009 to help small and medium size companies plan, develop and market their products and services using proven marketing practices and strategies.
Mazda holds a BSEE from the University of Utah and MBA from Santa Clara University, CA.
Henry Tam - Senior Consultant
Henry is a senior product management and marketing professional with 15+ years in the B2B high-tech industry. His professional experience includes developing marketing and product requirements, business plans and go-to market strategies. He has successfully launched next generation of IT products and leading-edge enterprise software solutions resulting in significant generation of revenue and profits.
Henry's latest corporate role was the Senior Solution Marketing Manager at Acxiom, responsible for go-to market strategy and launch of a new data quality software platform delivered via SaaS business model. Prior to Acxiom, he was the lead product planning manager for the single processor server line at Dell.
Henry holds a BSEE from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and MBA from University of Houston, TX.
